I made some progress with my Cryx battlegroup. This time I added the OSL (object source lighting) effects with Badger Krome airbrush. This effect turned out to be surprisingly neat. It's easy to mess up and overdo. The trick is to add white with an airbrush very lightly where you want the glow to hit, then layer some thinned down color or ink on top using an airbrush and lastly wash it. If you use oil wash, you can blend it very easily using mineral spririts and a brush. The green really pops out in the end. Simple yet effective.

Not sure what next. Maybe I will highlight the metal edges a bit. Perhaps I will add some fluo yellow in the middle of the glow to make the glow more bright in the right places. To be continued...
